    According to your article, the “troubles” in Northern Ireland were resolved by lavish social-welfare spending by the U.K. Since the U.K. banking system is effectively bankrupt, the U.K. will take a bigger hit than the U.S. If this causes a reduction in the social-welfare propping up Northern Ireland, might the troubles soon return?
