This extract gives a flavor:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Angels in My Hair is the autobiography of Lorna Byrne, an Irish woman who claims to have seen angels every day since she was a baby. Not only did the book become a bestseller, achieve six-figure sales in America, attract queues of weeping fans to Byrne\u2019s signings and gather endorsements from the likes of William \u2018Ken Barlow\u2019 Roach (\u2018Lorna beautifully and graphically describes angels and how they work\u2019). It also led to interviews with several newspapers, who quoted Byrne with a remarkable lack of scepticism. \u2018I see angels all the time I\u2019m awake,\u2019 she told the Mail. \u2018I see people\u2019s guardian angels \u2014 we each have one \u2014 and other types of angels, too, including archangels and cherubim.\u2019 \u2018Their wings,\u2019 she added for the Telegraph, \u2018are beautiful beyond words.\u2019<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The whole piece is a useful reminder of the sort of stuff that people want to believe in \u2013 and do.
