Check out Rebecca Goldstein&#8217;s latest novel, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/36-Arguments-Existence-God-Fiction\/dp\/0307378187\/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1257432708&amp;sr=1-5\">36 Arguments for the\u00a0Existence of God: A Work of Fiction<\/a>.  It&#8217;s very Goldstein: a perfect blend of intellectual playfulness &amp; seriousness, with side excursions into human nature and academic politics.  There&#8217;s a good knock-down atheist-believer debate in there, though I won&#8217;t tell you who wins.
